About the School

Denstone College is a co-educational, private, boarding and day school in Denstone, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England. It is a Woodard School, having been founded by Nathaniel Woodard, and so Christian traditions are practised as part of College life. It is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference.

At Denstone College, we have a word to describe our independent school pupils, parents and staff, it is Denstonacity. This is a noun which describes us as having ‘the ambition to explore every possible version of ourselves.’

As a College and Prep School in Staffordshire, we want to empower our school community into being able to make a difference in the word, creating role models all around our campus.

Vision

Our Vision is simple, as a provider of independent education in the Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire area, we aspire to encourage our pupils to jump up and down, making a difference in areas they have a passion in.

Mission Statement

To provide inspiration, discovery, and understanding to our independent school pupils by delivering excellence in the classroom and beyond.

Create opportunities by providing the highest possible standards of educational achievement in an environment where pupils are encouraged to realise their true potential.

To support the stresses each one of our school community faces, offering an independent education which is balanced with academic excellence and co-curricular exploration.

Remain true to the Woodard Corporation’s founding values, widening access to a sound Christian education.
